At Casa Refugio we offer comprehensive care to women survivors of human trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation, prostitution or those at risk of social exclusion.
The areas of direct intervention with each user are: education, social, employment, health, legal, organizing returns, and leisure and free time. We work on each stage since the woman enters our program, carrying out empowerment activities and we also work with the women who finish their process so that they can help the new women who are beginning their recovery process.
At Casa Refugio Transitoria they finish their process towards total independence.
The objective of Casa Refugio is to create a network of residential resources throughout the national territory, developing victim detection teams in all places where prostitution is practiced and establishing a network of international contacts with whom to work for the prevention, restoration and the insertion of those women who return to their country.
The main purpose is to provide a dignified place for victims, offering comprehensive support for their restoration and integration into society.

Internal and external resources
Our program is based on offering women victims of human trafficking or sexual exploitation comprehensive care, covering the different stages of restoration and personal and social reintegration. We offer women our internal resources and coordinate external resources for them to receive support. To do this, we have developed agreements with other public and private entities that help us create synergies and achieve greater and better intervention adapted to the needs of each case, in coordination with our Diaconía Network.
Casa Refugio has 8 permanence places, for stays of 18 months. Exceptionally, emergency residential care is provided when a place is available. Casa Refugio Transition has 4 places for transitioning to autonomy hosting residents once they have completed the permanence stage.
